Fiat 130 Coupé “Ronnie Peterson”

Fiat 130 Coupé – designed by Paolo Martin at Pininfarina. As the only post WWII Fiat with a non-budget build, this car set some very high standards for the definition of quality: refined interior, excellent handling and a bespoke, oversquare Aurelio Lampredi-designed engine. What is worth mentioning is that all Coupés were built by Pininfarina itself.
The suspension is very effective in order to make this big car go and handle as well as it looks. This potent single-cam-per-bank V6 was only ever used in the 130. This Fiat was offered with a Borg-Warner three-speed automatic or a 5-speed ZF manual gearbox. The 130 had state-of-the-art dual-circuit ventilated discs brakes.

The interior is designed to suit the car’s vigorous and beautiful appearance. The inside of this car is a combination of elegance and cleverness. For example, from the inside you can find an early form of cruise control – a handbrake lever that drops down once applied (a feature that would be copied for the Jaguar XJ-S), and a concealed glove box revealed by lifting the top of the dash. Velour was a novelty back then and gives the interior a subtle touch.
It is more than a fair choice when looking for a coupe with decent torque, sweet-sounding engine, comfy yet precise driving. Statistics say that there are around 25% of these cars left, so it might be a fair choice to obtain one. 

It was one of the last Fiat 130 Coupé models produced. The car has never been restored but some years ago it was repainted. The underbody is in neat original condition and thanks to the regular anti-corrosion treatment the bottom of the car is well preserved.

The seats are covered in original orange velvet. The car is fully inspected, serviced and drives very well.
