BMW M535i

BMW E28 M535i – a true modern example of German engineering. One of the last shark-nosed models besides BMW E24.
As the top of the regular production model range, the M535i uses the drivetrain from the 535i plus M-Technic suspension. There were approximately 4500 LHD non-catalyst manual versions built during a two-year production period.
Without a catalytic converter the M535i with its 160 kW inline 6 engine reaches the top speed of 230 km/h and does from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds.
This red-coloured family car is a combination of multifunctionality, tempo and sharp design. 

Alongside with its agility, the M535i puts plenty of effort into comfort too. Cruise control, an ‘on-board computer’ (to display trip information) and a “check control” panel (to alert the driver about fluid levels and lighting faults) were introduced to the 5 Series on the E28. Air conditioning, sporty seats and a perfectly arranged interior layout are more than fairly helping to balance its restless nature.

Smooth as butter, quick-tempered as a BMW.

The one in our collection has been preserved in mostly original condition. This car has always been in use by three owners. The body was repainted in the original Zinnober-rot colour. The engine and transmission have been overhault, the brake system, suspension and steering system have been completely renewed, axles powder-coated. Everything is assembled with period correct zinc-coated bolts. The car is in excellent condition and ready to go.
