Description

BMW 628CSi 1986 – the first generation of BMW 6 Series and a successor of BMW E9 coupé. A beautiful German luxury car that is very capable and meets the expectations of an up-to-date driver who is looking for a comfortable ride in an older classic. The 2.8 litre straight-six engine runs smoothly, ensures a reasonable fuel economy and never lets the driver down. The M30 has been rated as one of the “Top Engines of the 20th Century”. We might agree with that, as it was produced from 1968 to 1995 and with a production run of 27 years, it is BMW’s longest produced engine and was used in many other models as well. The production of BMW E24 ended in 1989, making it the last shark-nosed model to roll off the assembly line. With its timeless design, abundant equipment and first-class driving experience this model will remain an icon.

Sold new in France, the current 628CSi has spent its whole life in a good climate. The body and interior are in excellent shape, as well as the technical side of the car.  The car is rolling on 14” bottle-cap wheels and has the desired Diamantschwarz Metallic coating. It drives pretty much like a modern car and is well equipped (air conditioning, electric windows, electric sunroof). The 6-series sure  is the real ultimate driving machine.
