Fiat 130 Coupe 3200

Fiat set a different tone with the 130. This model belonged to the top segment, and the Fiat team did everything to achieve this. What do you think of disc brakes on all four wheels? Power steering as standard equipment? A beautiful V6 engine? A Pininfarina design? The 130 had it all.

For the development of the beautiful six-cylinder engine, the world-famous Ferrari expert engineer Aurelio Lampredi was brought into the team. Basically, the Fiat 128 engine was used – an engine that already drives very well in our opinion, and the V6 was created with overhead camshafts and eventually came in two different versions: the 2.8 liter and 3.2 liter.

Of course, a car in the top segment must have a certain appearance, in addition to technical features. Pininfarina was responsible for the design of the body, and in our opinion, a timelessly beautiful coupé was created. A fun fact is that Pininfarina also designed the interior, and we think it’s extraordinary looking. Just look at how beautiful the dashboard is with the instruments. We dare to say without a doubt that it is one of the most significant designs of this period.
